Case Study: Cardiac Rehab Watch Design


MCoE Design team partnered with Samsung to improve accessibility and the user experience of the cardiac rehab watch, phone and clinician web portal for a cardiac rehab program. This combined design expertise enabled us to create best-in-class solutions that are achieving substantially lower rehospitalization rates.


MCoE Spotlight: New Mobile Prototypes


Prototyping is a service that MCoE offers. Prototypes help to communicate application functionality to business partners and developers and are especially helpful for showcasing animations and complicated interaction design. We’ve added two new prototype videos for KP Mobile Rapid Exploration and Digital Membership Card!

Whether you are new to KP or have been around a while, download the app today and let us know what you think! Already have the app? 150 new acronyms will be available in the upcoming January release. New Intake Experience for Mobile App Management, Certification


The MCoE is pleased to announce our new intake and program management portal is ready for partners to experience: the MCoE Service Desk.


Mobility Alert: Changes to Signing in from Outside the KP Network


Starting in May 2019, users of KP-managed iPhones have been advised to download PingID to continue to have access to My HR and most other HR applications from outside the KP network. Follow these instructions to install the PingID mobile app to help protect member and employee information and patient care systems from cybercriminals.

Accessibility resources

Everyone at KP is responsible for ensuring our mobile apps are accessible and inclusive. Using the new WCAG 2.1 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) published in June 2018, we’ve applied a mobile perspective to these standards and created mobile accessibility resources for our partners.
