New MCoE Accessibility Resource: Contrast and Supplemental Content

June 2021: Article by Edward H Wald Jr, Accessibility Specialist

Contrast and supplemental content

With our ongoing effort to define accessibility standards, and to help people understand the challenges accessibility users face, we have created documentation that includes all user personas to support the design and implementation of products. Our new slide deck, Image Contrast and Labels (Native Mobile), is one such document that defines some of the accessibility challenges and solutions when working with icons and images. It is used by the mobile development teams to help meet the needs of our accessibility challenged users with guidance for contrast minimums and alt tag usage.

Check out all of our resources to better understand accessibility at KP on our Design MCoE website.
