New Intake Experience for Mobile App Management, Certification

The MCoE is pleased to announce our new intake and program management portal is ready for partners to experience: the MCoE Service Desk.

Where is the new Intake Form?

Please go to the new MCoE Service Desk portal and bookmark it for future reference. Be sure to sign in with your NUID and Windows Password.

What’s included in 1.0?

The Engagement and Certification team is transforming from Daptiv to the Atlassian platform to better serve our customers and to create a clearer line of sight into our core services operations.

This new portal, named MCoE Service Desk, replaces the former Daptiv webform. It comes with reporting capabilities that enable you to see which Service Desk Tickets are assigned to you and your team. MCoE Service Desk is a significant upgrade to the legacy system and provides the ability to track your MCoE engagement experience, from intake through certification, to release, and more.

Is there any documentation?

Program info and user guides are available upon request, however, the new portal was designed with an easy and natural interface, which means training is not required.

Over the next month, we will be pulling together some additional high level documentation on the new processes:

  1. Intake Management
  2. Engagement Management
  3. Certification Management
  4. Release Management

How about future releases (1.0+)?

We will continue to add more services and refine the process over the next 6 months — a strategy and schedule will be published shortly.

In the meantime, browse our Confluence page to research the transformation program’s background info, requirements, team, sprints, etc. Or, reach out to our Certification Program Manager and Atlassian Transformation Program Product Owner, Matthew Rapier, if you have any questions or issues as we make this transition.

Are there other applications in the Atlassian Suite?

Aside from the new MCoE Service Desk intake portal, Atlassian provides a suite of web applications that help with our mobile app program management needs. For our business partners who might be managing mobile app programs using Jira and Confluence, please request access to Confluence and Jira by submitting an intake with the Factory of the Future Team here: Request to provision a new account. Please provide the necessary details including your manager’s NUID and approval and be sure to request access to your mobile app program spaces in both Jira and Confluence.
