2021 New Faces to the Mobility Center of Excellence

June 2021: Article by Michelle Watson, Engagement Manager

Welcome!

We’re excited to announce MCoE has added three new team members, Ajay Vattipally, Kim El-Amin and Ken Ballinger!

Ajay is an Android build engineer and from Pleasanton, CA. In his free time, he enjoys reading books and spending time with his two-year-old son. One of his favorite quotes is “I once had a thousand desires. But in my one desire to know you all else melted away – Rumi”.

Kim (pronounced: el ah-meen) joins us as a certification manager from Atlanta, GA. She classifies herself as a lifelong nerd and lifelong learner that enjoys solving problems and making things better (if she can). When she is not working, she enjoys music, movies, and a great laugh! She also loves when a great movie quote can enhance a situation in real life. A fun fact about her: Elephants and tigers are her former co-workers. She once worked for Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus as a Regional Marketing Director where there was a great deal of culture, art, and science to digest! She is also currently enrolled in a class where she is learning how to digitize and enhance her visual communication skills! #Kaizen

Ken comes to us an enthusiastic lead business consultant from MSSA Innovates with extensive voice of the customer experience, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certified, vendor and program management experience, with motivational leadership and training abilities. He’s been with Kaiser Permanente for 15+ years from our Health Plan partners. He spent most of his career in Southern California, then 5 years in Denver, CO, and most recently is working out of Lahaina, HI.

Join us welcoming Ajay, Kim and Ken to our team, we’re so glad to have you onboard!
