KP Mobile App v4.24 – Release Notes

Hi All,

I am happy to announce that KP Mobile iOS and Android 4.24 (February) versions were successfully released to our KP members via the Google Store and Apple store. PQE has completed their production shakedown with no new issues to report.

Scope for KP Mobile 4.24 (February) release:

  • Enable migration of all MyChart appointment center capabilities from Usablenet to AEM WebViews: MyChart Data tiles migration for Past Visits information and direct scheduling for KP members from Usablenet to AEM web views.
  • Waitlist offers: KP members can now review and accept waitlist appointments offers as they become available.
  • Referrals: KP members can now access a detailed list of referrals from their doctors.
  • Android ADA compliance: This release marked the beginning of KP Mobile App’s journey to be ADA compliant on Android platform. This release included the development of Android talk-back capabilities for features such as Bill-pay, Message center, Digital membership card(DMC), Pharmacy center, Find(Get) Care module and Contact us.
  • Pharmacy Center: Prescription mail-order shipping expansion- Prescriptions can now be shipped to states of Iowa, Indiana, New Hampshire and New Jersey from a mail order store. The above-mentioned states are in addition to this feature already existing for members in Northern California, S California, Georgia, Hawaii and MAS.
  • Pharmacy Center: Display outstanding refills-KP members can now view the number of refills remaining on their medication. This new enhancement will be available on Prescriptions landing screen, Prescriptions details screen, and Find by Rx number screen.
  • Express Check-In (ECI): This option is enabled on mobile app and is displayed under upcoming appointment details screen for Georgia region. This feature can be accessed by members once the region goes live which is presently targeting March/April timeframe.
  • Display accurate co-pay information: Members having dual coverage can now access accurate copay information.
  • App Onboarding: This enhancement provides first-time app users to have a smooth on-boarding experience by streamlining the flow with minimal steps.
  • Technical Debt: Includes the dark deployment of Migration of MMR native mobile features from Axway services to Bluemix cloud, Added Analytics of various features, Upgrading X-code 10 and retiring of iOS 9/10 amongst others.
  • Defect Fixes.
