KP Digital Restructuring and the MCoE
June 2021: Article by Christian Young, Director of Mobile IX and Design Systems
On May 5th KP Digital announced a major restructuring initiative that impacted the MCoE in the following: The UX Design team, under Christian Young, was moved out of Experience Engineering and into Strategic Experience Design. This resulted in integrating the MCoE designers with the Mobile IX and Design System teams, thus forming a united experience design team.
MCoE services unchanged
Although the user experience team has moved out of the MCoE, user experience will remain a fundamental facet of the MCoE through a joint partnership with the Mobile IX team. This means that our partners will continue to benefit from services including the UI/UX Brand Certification Gate, design consultations, and design engagements through the MCoE just as before.
Restructuring the Experience Design teams will help KP Digital focus on delivering aligned and exceptional experiences to our members, workforce, and clinicians, with leadership at the stakeholder and experience group levels.
